It seems that there may have been a change of plan when it comes to the phasing out of the Asus Eee PC 1000HE in Europe. There were rumours that the mini laptop was going to be phased out in the UK and France, but it appears that these rumours may be wrong.

Now it seems the same source within Asus is saying that the PC 1000H and the PC 1000HE are the most popular models within the Asus range and have no immediate plans to phase these models out. It turns out to be the same story in France too; they have no plans to phase these models out until at least July.
